I absolutely love what I do. Being able to interact with women and moms is a joy. Why? Because I get to witness how taking care of your mental health impacts everything in your life for the better.
I have two main specialties, that are tied closely together sometimes. I specialize in perimenopause and mental health as well as adolescent mental health. I work with women and moms looking to feel more calm, more regulated, less irritable, less anxious, less isolated.
In terms of one-on-one therapy, I am licensed as a psychologist in multiple states through PSYPACT. My home base is Suwanee, Georgia, and surrounding areas. But I also spent a great portion of my adult life in Seattle so that is a special place to me as well. But honestly? My practice is virtual and I am authorized to provide one-on-one therapy to people in the majority of the United States. This includes Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Northern Mariana Islands, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Caroline, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Washington DC, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Here’s a little more about me. I received my PhD in Counseling Psychology in 2007. I had received my MS in Counseling Psychology prior to that, in 1998.
I have worked with primarily women, teens, and parents for over 25 years and have guided them through some of their toughest moments. I am particularly passionate about guiding people through transitions – I am especially focused on guiding women through the mental health challenges of perimenopause. Other types of transition my clients are typically facing include relationship loss, grief, divorce, leaving home or moving, and starting a new job. I know how valuable seeking support and prioritizing well-being can be.
