I absolutely love what I do. Being able to interact with women on a regular basis is a joy. Why? Because I get to witness how taking care of your mental health impacts everything in your life for the better.
I specialize in perimenopause, menopause, and midlife transitions. I also have expertise in adolescent mental health and work with parents of teens. I work with women looking to feel more calm, more regulated, less irritable, less anxious, less isolated.
Midlife is such an interesting time of life, and that includes the positives and the negatives. Which is why I believe it is not only about managing symptoms but examining who you used to be and who you want to become.
In terms of one-on-one therapy, I am licensed as a psychologist in multiple states through PSYPACT. My home base is Gwinnett County in Suwanee, Georgia, and surrounding areas. But I also spent a great portion of my adult life in Seattle so that is a special place to me as well. But honestly? My practice is virtual and I am authorized to provide one-on-one therapy to people in the majority of the United States. This includes Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Northern Mariana Islands, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Caroline, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Washington DC, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
My workshops, programs, and other offerings are considered educational in nature and, therefore, don’t constitute a therapeutic relationship. So those can be accessed by women all across the globe!

Here’s a little more about me: I received my PhD in Counseling Psychology in 2007. I’ve been licensed since then as well. I had received my MS in Counseling Psychology prior to that, in 1998, and knew I wanted to go back for more training.
I have worked with primarily women, teens, and parents for over 25 years and have guided them through some of their toughest moments. I am particularly passionate about guiding people through transitions, especially through perimenopause and midlife. Other types of transition my clients are typically facing (often at the same time) include relationship loss, grief, divorce, leaving home or moving, empty nesting, becoming grandparents, and starting a new job.
I know how valuable seeking support and prioritizing well-being can be and I hope you’ll reach out.
