I absolutely love what I do. Being able to interact with parents, teens, young adults, and school staff is a great joy. I worked in schools for over 25 years and have been honored to support people through some of life’s toughest times.
I am able to speak and provide workshops globally, either in person or virtually. I can also provide short-term consultation globally.
In terms of one-on-one therapy, I am licensed as a psychologist in multiple states through PSYPACT. This means I am authorized to provide one-on-one therapy to people in the majority of the United States. This includes Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Northern Mariana Islands, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Caroline, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Washington DC, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

I received my PhD in Counseling Psychology in 2007 as well as a MS in Counseling Psychology in 1998.
I have worked with teens, young adults, and parents for over 25 years and have guided them through some of their toughest moments. I am particularly passionate about guiding people through transitions – especially guiding parents through their child’s start of college and leaving college. Other types of transition my clients are typically facing include relationship loss, grief, divorce, leaving home or moving, and starting a new job. I also work with parents or young adults who are estranged from one another. I know how valuable seeking support and prioritizing well-being can be.
