I absolutely love what I do. Being able to interact with parents, teens, and school staff is a great joy. I worked in schools for over 25 years and have been honored to support people through some of life’s toughest times.

I am licensed as a psychologist in multiple states through PSYPACT. This means I am authorized to provide workshops to anyone across the world and to provide one-on-one therapy to people in the majority of states and territories. This includes Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Northern Mariana Islands, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Caroline, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Washington DC, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

I received my PhD in Counseling Psychology in 2007 as well as a MS in Counseling Psychology in 1998.

I have worked with teens and parents for over 25 years and have guided them through some of their toughest moments. I am particularly passionate about guiding people through transitions – especially guiding parents through their teen’s college admissions process and beyond. Not as a “where should I apply and what should I write my essay about” form of support (though that can be essential!) but more as a “protect your mental health” kind of way, especially as this may be the first time your teen (and you) is faced with long-term, ongoing uncertainty with the real potential for some rejection mixed in. Other types of transition my clients are typically facing include relationship loss, grief, divorce, leaving home or moving, and starting a new job. I know how valuable seeking support and prioritizing well-being can be.
